Invoice payment, paperwork and certification
Due to the nature of PAT testing and the fact that our certification covers the appliance for one year after testing date (and in the case of 110V items , three months), all accounts MUST be settled in full prior to paperwork, certification and reports being sent. Any company wishing to apply for a credit account or asking for credit terms must do so in writing prior to any testing taking place. Paperwork and certification is issued automatically on payment and cover for the items tested starts from that time.
Preparing for your PAT test
PAT Testing checklist
In order to facilitate a safe and efficient PAT testing procedure, staff members are asked to complete the following prior to testing commencing (where relevant):
- All personal items to be removed from under desks to allow access to appliances.
- All food/liquids to be removed from working area.
- All sensitive paperwork and documents are to be removed from the immediate work area or safely secured prior to testing.
- When the PAT tester informs you that your appliances are to be tested, please save all open docs, log off your system and shut down your PC.
